Ending the Stigma Around Tattoos

Tattoos are growing more and more popular everyday, yet there is still a stigma attached to them.  Many people see tattoos in a negative light and think less of people who have tattoos.  This needs to end.

Tattoos should be viewed as a form of expression rather than a way to ruin your body.  It’s understandable that some may not like tattoos and choose to never get one, but they should not take it as far as to judge someone else for having a tattoo.

Some people are not even able to get a job simply because they have a tattoo.  They could be qualified in every area needed for the job, but still not get hired because of the ink on their body.  This is extremely unfair and shocking that they can get away with not hiring someone because of a tattoo.

Choosing to get a tattoo does not define who you are as a person.  You are still the same person before and after getting a tattoo.  If people were more open-minded on this subject, there would be a lot less judgment and critcism on the people who do choose to get tattoos.
