Ultraviolet Tattoos

Ultraviolet tattoos, commonly known as UV tattoos, are normally only visible under ultraviolet light. The ink used for these tattoos is called ultraviolet reactive ink and it comes in an assortment of colors, giving you endless possibilities. The UV lights, sometimes referred to as black lights, are normally found in night clubs, raves, and other similar places. When the tattoo is put under the UV light it gives off a glow that normal ink could never give.

Many people who want a subtle tattoo that is easy to hide view UV tattoos as a great option. Although UV tattoos are invisible unless under the black light, these tattoos do leave scars on the surface of the skin, which are visible at all times, which is something to consider before getting one of these tattoos.

One of the biggest controversies surrounding these tattoos is if they are safe. Some people argue that they are as safe as any other tattoo ink, while others think they can be very harmful to a person. A few of the ingredients in the ink have been linked to severe allergic reactions. There is also phosphorus in the ink that can cause blistering and rashes on the skin.

Ultraviolet tattoos can be a fun and give you the confidence to tattoo whatever you would like onto your body, but you do need to proceed with caution when getting on of these tattoos. Definitely take time to research and set up a consultation meeting before getting one of these.
